Meet your new wellness coach and self-care strategist for Christian moms, Dr. LaToya!

Hello, beautiful! My name is Dr. LaToya Wiggins and I am a wellness advocate and self-care strategist for moms with young children. I believe no mom should struggle to take care of herself due to the business of motherhood and life. Therefore, I transition moms from worn out to winning so they will no longer feel depleted but develop necessary healthy habits to be nourished, renewed, and rejuvenated with biblical principles and self-care strategies that bring peace instead of burnout.

My passion for coaching women of faith with children came about due to my experience of struggling to find balance in my life while raising a family and having a career. Trying to manage my time, stress, weight, eating habits, and energy, while trying to show up as the best mom and wife I could be seemed impossible most days. Several months after I gave birth to my second child, I learned transformational coaching methods and applied them to my life. I was able to adopt different tools to stay consistent with healthy habits and keep up with the hustle and bustle of life. For a while, I was able to manage my weight, exercise regularly, eat healthy, feel more energized, feel less stressed, and find time to do pleasurable activities often. Although many of my physical healthy habits were consistent over the years, my mental health progressively worsened as my family grew and I took on more roles both personally and professionally. I just could not seem to improve my mental health the way I desired, until I started diving deeper into the Word and applied biblical principles to my self-care routines.

Going through my own transformation mentally, physically, and spiritually has made my passion to assist other Christian moms even greater. I assist moms in setting achievable self-care goals that are in harmony with their Christian values and beliefs and provide ongoing support and accountability to ensure they stay committed to their self-care journey.

I live in Baltimore, MD with my loving husband and three wonderful sons. Outside of wellness coaching and speaking, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, so health and wellness is my thing! A few things I enjoy include date nights with my husband, dancing, comedy shows, and traveling.
